Day 183-184

I am writing this at the beginning of our second last day. Thinking over the year that has been.
I can't believe it is almost over. I often think back to September when I looked into the eyes of each of the students as I stood in front of them and they stared back at me. I didn't know them at all.
It didn't take long before their wonderful personalities came out. Such a variety of interests and talents. We have introverts and extroverts and talkers and quiet kids. Academics and athletes. Artists and inventors. Mathematicians and singers. Authors and computer geniuses.
All of these and more make up portable 402. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
Thank you to the kids and the parents for such a great year. I have learned so much and love that no two days are ever predictable or the same.
You are why I love my job.

P.S. Here is a video just for fun by a few of the kids using Video Star

Day 180

Don't forget pajama day tomorrow. It's Camp Day tomorrow and we will play the Survival Game as well as have a campfire. Bring your songs and stories. If you have an instrument that you can play for us bring it along too.
I will send out a list of everything that we will be doing this week. It'll sort of be like Camp Wagner.
