French started the day (oui, oui) and then it was on to language where we finished our Sea of Monsters book and then the kids had time to work on their own reading. Tomorrow we'll pick up on the persuasive writing!
In computers the kids received their accounts for Animoto and they fooled around with that program for a while. This will be the basis of our book talk/trailers in March.
In math the students completed their volume tests and now we're on to geometry. Woo Hoo!
After lunch the students worked on their bridges to be tested tomorrow and then we tried to finish up the Sea of Monsters and got close to the end when the video conked out.
So only reading tonight.
Some students have forgotten to bring their books into the class to work on their reading and this has caused some difficulty and time wasting. PLEASE put your book into your backpack once you've finished reading it.
