Today began with French and then it was a little Harry Potter (I'm lovin' doing those accents, and of course having our Harry in the class to translate any of the more British words, such as jumper and hoover).
The kids worked on their persuasive essays.
In computers there were a lot of kids who finished their persuasive essay and/or their egg drop write up. Tomorrow there will be another computer lab time and this will be the final catch up day for all of the assignments that are due! Then we can breath!
In math we talked about the vertices, faces and edges of the different types of 3D shapes and tomorrow we will be using the nets to build these shapes.
For science we watched as the last three egg contraptions were dropped from the top of the stairs. There were some good designs! Then we went out for DPA and played a round of kick the can to get right of some of that pent up energy.
Agendas and dismissal!
This day went fast. Here are a couple more pics from the eggstravaganza!
