Today began with French and then on to language. The stories that are being written are spectacular and it truly is awesome to be able to interact with the kids as they are writing and have them fix their errors and hopefully learn from then as they go.
In gym we began our dance unit with the Energy theme. The kids were put into groups that they didn't particularly choose but they seemed to "get it together" as time went on. Those that "took the bull by the horns" and started to get creative really, really did a fantastic job.
In math we did a group problem and then actually used our Jump Math books. This was a great practice tool for the kids to solidify their knowledge of long division.
In the afternoon it was a bit of a free for all as kids worked on their non-renewable and renewable posters and then it was back to music where the students' worked on their energy songs. They ARE GOOD!!! We will post them on the blog when they are all recorded.
There is only a little bit of math work. Please come prepped for Track tomorrow. We have no other option but to do it tomorrow, so be prepared for any type of weather!
