Today started with those introductions and then we moved on to our class Expectations. The students all agreed on the following expectations and they will be held to them. They are not new, but are good to go over:
In Portable 402 we expect....
1. To learn from and teach one another
2. To be respected;not only who we are but also our "stuff"
3. To be listened to without being interrupted.
4. To be given the chance to work to the best of our abilities.
5. To be responsible for being on time with our assignments, our homework and even getting to school.
We talked today about the different types of leadership styles and how they are all good. We compared them to 4 different animals: the shark, the turtle, the owl, and the puppy! We could all think of people that we know (no names!!) that represent each of the animal types.
French was during 4th period and then in the afternoon we did some unique hand art and finally a little DPA at the end of the day.
So I promised a prize to the first person to email me who knows the answer to the following question. What is the most popular name in Portable 402?
