Today began with a trip to the library to renew or borrow books as we didn't get a chance to do that on Tuesday when we were there with Mr. Heidman.
Afterward we read our Terry Fox stories to one another and began a unit on letter writing that the kids are very excited about! We will be writing letters, both formal and friendly and will therefore need addresses and stamps so that we can send them away all together. We'll talk more about that when the time comes.
After recess it was time for art and so the kids were shipped off to Mrs. McCormick's class to do their art. To tell you the truth, I didn't ask them about what they were creating. I'll have to look into that tomorrow. Let me know via email if you'd like. This is not a contest question.
Health was during part of 5th period but then the kids were off to do the Terry Fox run! Some of the kids really pushed themselves, which was very impressive!! Some even did 10 laps!!! Wow! Terry would be proud if he were here to see that! Thank you for all of your donations to such a worthy cause!
We ended the day with apples and a little of our read aloud book.
