Day 51 - Math (mean, median mode) pages, Math test on Friday, Inferring test, Thursday

French (oui, oui) started our day and then we read from the Lightning Thief. Apparently a pink poodle helped the kids on a quest get some money. It is a very creative book to be sure. We'll be watching the movie when we complete the book, for sure!!

3rd and 4th period consisted of math, math, math as the kids learned and practiced mean, median and mode. This will be taken up tomorrow and we will work on it more throughout the week, so that at the end of the week the kids can be tested on their knowledge and application of this new learning.

During 5th period we composed our boomwhacker songs on the treble staff! Well done kids. Some of the groups still have to do this and will do so at recess tomorrow.

Drama took place during 6th.

This day went quickly!!

I will put a practice sheet up on the blog for inferring and mean, median, mode tomorrow afternoon.
