Today I looked through my marking and low and behold I found out that only 8 people have handed in their article summary for their Reading Responses!! If its your turn, it's your responsibility to get it in! I'll keep people in for recess to get those finished. The articles this week are kind of interesting...especially that doorknob one in B.C.
This has been a busy week with me being in meetings from Wednesday until tomorrow. I'm excited because the supply teacher that is coming in for the afternoon is an amazing teacher named Mrs. Kerr. She did her practice teaching in the portable two years ago and I know that everyone will enjoy having in the class.
French began today and our inferring test was during 2nd period. In the computer lab the kids completed a climate survey; their thoughts and ideas about Algonquin Ridge and how they feel learning here.
During 4th period the kids got the chance to finish their inferring test and then they worked on how the 3 levels of government helped out during the Vancouver Olympics.
We had a little bit of a bullying information session to end the day to keep on the anti-bullying theme.
