Friday I was away yet again in the afternoon, though I was hanging around ARES, just in meetings.
The kids were able to stay in at recess to complete their article summaries! We will do one more this week. Please choose from the articles that I will have put up on the blog as of Monday a.m. These articles are more child friendly and appropriate for grade fives, yet still government related. It definitely has been difficult over the last couple of weeks to find municipal articles that are appropriate, and Toronto city council seems to have been dominating all government news!!!
Math tests have been marked, so please ensure that these are signed for Tuesday. Most (almost all) of the students have a learned the concepts relating to mean, median and mode! Well done kids!
The inferring test will also be returned tomorrow, so please have those signed for Tuesday as well. The result for this one were a little more varied as this is a tough concept for some to grasp.
