Day 61 - Personal Narratives, Math Patterning sheets

Today began with French. There was a supply teacher today, so I'm not certain what the kids did.

Housekeeping/returning assessed work and encouragement was given to the kids that they MUST hand in completed work. Some of the kids are up to date on their article summaries but others are not so everyone knows who owes me another article summary in order to be caught up.

After recess we did math (patterning) with repeating patterns and then it was on to Social Studies. The kids are still working on their Mayor tasks. We have also introduced a Random Act of Kindness challenge and that will be given out tomorrow. As citizens of any town, province, country we have a responsibility as citizens to keep life positive around us. Recycle, take care of our belonging and be kind and respectful to other citizens, and hence our challenge. This was just introduced today, so we'll chat more about it tomorrow.

In music we are learning a special hand/rhythm pattern to do for one of the assemblies before Christmas. If you'd like to practice some more here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDvIo_LRIZ4 . Have fun with it!

Drama ended the day.

Have a nice evening!
