Today began in the classroom finishing the wonderful book Percy Jackson. Everyone was excited about that because today is that day that we got to sit down to watch that movie! We're finding, although we haven't finished it, that the movie is a lot different from the book. The concensus is, of course, that the book is better.
We wrote our stories (collective noun Christmas stories) and worked through CASI for those who weren't finished.
We had reading buddies with our kindergarten partner class and helped them to make a Christmas ornament. Very cute. The kids are so good with the little ones.
Health was during 3rd period and we went on to the second part of our input and output math during 4th.
5th and 6th were dedicated to Percy Jackson as I mentioned before. After a few technical difficulties we finally moved to the library to watch it. Still more to watch tomorrow at the end of the day.
Overall this day went very quickly!
