Day 108 - READ, Geometry Test on Monday, Persuasive Essay Paragraph 1-3, Book Talk due on Thursday

Today began with an excellent anti-bullying assembly and walk. Mr. Turner and the grade eight band did a wonderful job of singing and performing songs that are against bullying. There were statistics, and even a story book by Mrs. Gray.

In gym the students did more basketball and learned how to follow through with their wrists. The kids also learned about the "sweet spot" on the backboard behind the hoop. Well done gang!

In math we learned about the different types of triangles. Tomorrow we'll do more of this.
