Almost all of the families that are connected via email were the students that were first to bring in their notes! This blog thing works!!! So, unless someone logs in on their own, the first sentence of this paragraph is "preaching to the choir"! Thank you all for checking in.
The science quiz tomorrow is a simple one. Know the forces acting on structures (there are 6) and the difference between a natural disaster and natural hazard. Understand what a force is. Have examples of a natural disaster that you know about.
Today was good. We started with the math quiz which demonstrated some areas that the students were unclear about. We corrected those things and then some of the students where able to do another 2 question quiz.
In gym the kids worked on their forces dance. We are trying to get an extra gym period to have a bit more practice and then we'll present them on Friday. The kids are really considering the elements of dance and the 6 forces effecting structures.
In library Mr. Heidman talked to the kids about technology and reading books. Do you think that technology will make books become extinct?
The end of the day was focused on science presentations about natural disasters. :D Some creative work her kids!
