Term 2 is starting soon so we'll be able to relax a little. Lots in store still though.
We've got our science units on the Human Body, Energy and we'll finish off our unit on Structures and forces.
In social studies we'll be looking at First Nations and European Settlers.
In math we'll finish up measurement by next Wednesday and get going on geometry. Please start really practising your multiplication tables. It is a must that you have them memorized up to your 12 x tables and so working on them every night will be of so much benefit to you!
Yesterday in science we learned about the Tacoma Bridge (fail) and about other styles of bridges. We will continue our look at bridges today!
Tomorrow we'll discuss shapes and how they can strengthen structures, we'll watch a Bill Nye and then get going on the expectations for the egg drop experiment.
Here is a quick video about the Tacoma Narrows bridge.
I'll write again tonight, but hopefully that gets everyone looking forward!
