Day 128 - I've been a non-blogger for the last few days! Pajama Day today.

Hello everyone, sorry for the silence, but I'm back. Traditional multiplication has been the focus of the days gone by in our math classes. Some are getting it and some are approaching understanding.

We looked at it two ways and it works both.

Either way works well and would be a level 3/4 answer. Today we'll complete our look at multiplication and have a five question quiz on Monday.

 In language we're preparing for our literature circle groups. I've been trying to find novels that reflect our study that we will be doing in Social Studies about European Explorers and First Nations, but there aren't many novels that I can find whole sets of. Our next writing will be about science fiction so I may focus in on this type of novel. Stay tuned (Monday).

In science we've looked at the respiratory system, the digestive system and the circulatory system. Today we will model the respiratory system. Please look at the blog on the right hand side for link to some ideas for models for your projects.

In gym we've completed our unit on basketball and will do a couple of days of prepping for the upcoming Jump rope for heart! Let's get skipping! Spring is here!
