Yes, first and foremost Happy Easter! I sincerely hope that everyone has a wonderful long weekend with family and friends. I hope the Easter Bunny is good to all of you.
The only homework that is required is, of course, the science project. This includes your Glogster as well as your model.
Today was a great day. I sat in on the group doing the White Cave Escape for their literature circle group. This group was very well prepared and organized. Their book sounds very exciting and I know they have trouble not reading ahead. Thanks group for letting me sit in.
In gym we played our ultimate frisbee/basketball game and then we got to teach it to the grade sevens.
In math we did a problem together and talked about equivalent fractions.
Mr. Heidman did a similar thing with us and we were able to play a game with playing cards to compare fractions.
Just for fun, at the end of the day we had a talent show. The kids put something together during the day and were able to perform in front of the class. We had skipping, card tricks, a song and even a couple of comedy acts.
