Today began with French and the kids continued their work on their brochure.
During 2nd period we continued with our perspectives writing and the kids started on the Terry Fox stories. The full assignment for this will be up on the blog by Monday. The rough copies are due next Wednesday.
Computer lab is always on Day 4 and so we worked on the program Prezi again. Finally, I do believe that everyone is logged in to the program and on their way to creating wonderful presentations about themselves.
Gym had us playing a fun game that is a lead up to volleyball. The kids learned the direction of rotation and had fun trying to get one another off the court. We tried a real game at the very end but the bell soon rang and it was time for recess.
Math was after lunch and we practiced our understanding of comparing large and small numbers using the greater than and less than symbols < >.
Finally we talked again about Non-Newtonian liquids and watched a couple of Youtube videos about quicksand (which is a Non-Newtonian liquid because it gets thicker with force). Here are the videos.
