The kids wrote (free write) and then we talked about our friendly letters. Tomorrow we will have the kids write their friendly letter on special paper. Some of the kids have not started their letters, so that will be homework tonight so that they can write their good copies tomorrow.
During Science (3rd period) we watched a video from the show "How its Made" and learned how Gummy worms are made. We then did a chain of event to summarize how gummies are made.
This will be an assignment during computer time this week.(see assignments) It is important to know that there are environmental impacts on our world when manufacturing takes place and this will be discussed in relation to factories/gummies tomorrow.
Fourth was French.
In fifth period, we did some work with Mr. Heidman in the library. He read us a wordless book! It was a quiet room!
Math was during 6th period and we learned subtraction using number lines.
