Wednesday we will have our campaign speeches for those students that are running for Prime Minister (Mayor, President) of Wagnersville. The kids who are running were given an example of a speech to help them create their speeches for the class.
Those that are running are expected to dress for success on Wednesday when they are presenting their speeches.
Today we did our fitness stations for the third time around. We will be doing these for the duration of the month, 2x per week. Hopefully the kids will begin to notice increased stamina and will work their hardest to reach the gold level.
In Language we continued with our Reading Workshop. Most of the students have put forth an excellent effort in their reading comprehension questions and summarizing of the news.
In library period Mr. Heidman taught us about goal setting.
At the end of the day we did our Zones lesson on facial expressions and reading people's faces to figure out what zone they are in. We will talk more about this and how to react to those in certain zones. We will also talk about the fact that often people become good at hiding their expressions that show how they truly feel.
