During Language we read the Sea of Monsters and then went on to our final Reading Workshop in the cycle. Tomorrow we will begin with fresh articles and reading comprehension. We will be focusing on non-fiction text, and specifically the Olympics in our Guided Reading.
In math we did a Bansho which is group problem solving. The kids were given a problem that involved two units of measurement and they had to figure out how to convert one of the measurements so that they were the same units of measurement and therefore easier to solve.
