Day 92 - Composite Shapes area sheet

Today began with Sea of Monsters and then a talk and note on Non-fiction features. The kids then received their media/writing assignment. It is going to be great! This one allows for creativity and great writing! There was also a little bit of science thrown in there at the end of language.

In health the test went well (according to the students!).

In math we did more composite rectangular shapes. Can you figure out the area of the one below?




Art took over the rest of the day. Since we're focusing on structures in Science we did a cool Toronto Skyline picture. They aren't quite finished but they're looking good!
