Today started with French (actually this happened yesterday).
In language we began our literature circle groups. The kids came prepared to share their thoughts and ideas with the rest of their group in their own roles. The conversations seemed great and they were focused and ready to participate.
During 3rd period the kids worked on their Glogster assignments and then we continued with Science in class as we talked about, and learned about the muscular system.
Today we will learn about the nervous system.
Math was all about fractions. We are using fraction blocks to help us to solidify this concept. Many of the kids came in saying that they didn't know much about fractions. The goal is to have the kids not only understand the concept of fractions, but also have them able to find at least 3 equivalent fractions.
Some of the kids did art at the end of the day and then they were off!
Today we have gym and then library with Mr. Heidman.
It is supposed to be a warm one today! Everyone seems so excited about the Spring weather and I have to say that I am doing a little happy Spring dance too! I changed to background of the blog to suit that feeling!
